REDMAGIC Now Accepts Crypto Payments For Its Devices

Up-and-coming brand REDMAGIC has been targeting the gaming smartphone market with its 7-series of devices. These phones contain flagship-level chipsets and cutting-edge specifications that would wow most people into making a purchase. These are necessary to play the latest games at high settings and achieve the necessary framerates for an immersive experience. As expected with these top-of-the-line technologies though is the fact that these can cost quite a handful. Luckily enough, you can now use crypto to buy your favorite REDMAGIC devices.

Starting March 10, REDMAGIC is officially accepting crypto as a form of payment on the official site. This is done in conjunction with Utrust, a global platform for online payments. It has an internal system with advanced security measures built specifically to facilitate transactions for businesses like REDMAGIC.

Pedro Martinho, Chief Marketing Officer had this to say: “REDMAGIC is an excellent example of why we do what we do. They are at the forefront of technology, building an exciting product from the ground up. They are trailblazing their own future, and that’s definitely something we relate to.”

Cryptocurrency tokens that will be accepted are the following: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), Utrust (UTK), Dash (DASH), Tether (USDT), and Elrond eGold (EGLD). This is an established mix of top contenders in the space and some stable coins tied to the valuation of real-world currency.

Utrust would like to remind people paying with USDT, USDC, and ETH to choose ERC20 as the payment network while transacting. Otherwise, tokens used could be permanently lost.

For those worried about the refund processes for products purchased with cryptocurrency, REDMAGIC and Utrust would like to assure that the process will not be unnecessarily difficult. These transactions will also be done over Utrust in the same cryptocurrency that was used to pay for the transaction itself. Network fees such as gas will be deducted automatically from the refund total.
